‘Don’t Let Go (Love)’ was En Vogue’s most successful single. The song was released in October 1996 and sold 1.3 million copies in the US alone It peaked at no.2 in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and no.1 in the R&B charts. The song encapsulates the essence of much of 1990s R&B-Pop. ‘Don’t Let Go (Love)’ was a collaborative production project and included drum programming by Lil John. The piano part was recorded by Marvin ‘Chanz’ Parkman. The song was featured in the movie Set It Off. It re-entered the UK charts at number 23 in November 2011 after girl group Little Mix performed it on The X Factor on British TV.
