Heathcote Station 🚉

Today Harry visited Heathcote Station… and it did NOT disappoint 👀 👉 Spotted a freight train on the way to; plenty of Tangaras and even caught an Oscar (H set) rolling through twice! 📍 Fun + Factual: • Heathcote sits on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line (Tangara territory ✔️) • Also gets some South Coast intercity trains sneaking through • Opened way back in 1886 😮 (one of the older stations on the line!) • Around 33km from Central • Elevated at 193m above sea level – one of the higher stations in Sydney ⛰️ • About 700 passengers a day – nice and chill compared to busy hubs • Upgraded in 2017 with lifts = fully accessible 🙌 👀 Harry’s highlights: • Tangara spotting = SUCCESS we got to ride on a moving seat tangara!! • Oscar sightings = always a win • Quiet station vibes… but still plenty of train action Bonus storyline: while waiting for trains… Harry turned the platform into a bottle flip arena 🥤🔥 (Let’s just say… accuracy improved as the vlog went on 😆) 💬 Question for the train fam: What’s your favourite station on the T4 line… and why? 🚆
