Today, we are in the heart of the township to visit Belinda. Her story is one of incredible resilience—managing a household and a garden with a strict 100-liter daily water limit. In this environment, every drop isn't just precious; it's a lifeline for the trees that will one day feed this community. We are officially at Tree Number 13 of our 7,682-tree mission. Seeing the "layers" Belinda is planting—from carrots and beets to future fruit trees—shows that permaculture isn't just a hobby here; it's a survival strategy.
