This video explains pollen grain formation and structure. Pollen grain covered by two layers as outer layer exine and inner layer intine. Exine forms some apertures called germ pores and exine made up of sporopollenin which very hard organic material. Intine is thin layer around cytoplasm and made up of cellulose and pectin. The microspore develops as pollengrain by some changes. microspore take mitotic division and forms one big cell called vegetative cell with rich food material and irregular big nucleus. The small cell called generative cell and it flotation in vegetative cell with spindle shape 60%of pollen grain shed from another in 2 cells stage . 40%shedin 3 cells stage .
