🛡️ AWS Backend: Layered Cloud Defense

A secure backend isn’t built with just one security feature—it’s built with multiple layers working together. In this implementation, I strengthened my AWS infrastructure with: ✅ AWS WAF to filter malicious requests ✅ IP Blocking to stop known bad actors ✅ Rate Limiting to prevent API abuse and DDoS attempts ✅ CloudFront CDN for faster global content delivery ✅ Intelligent Caching to reduce latency and database load ✅ Load Balancers for high availability ✅ Auto Scaling to handle sudden traffic spikes ✅ Private VPC architecture and secure AWS service endpoints Every layer reduces risk, improves performance, and helps ensure the application remains available under heavy traffic. Whether you’re building a startup, SaaS platform, fintech application, marketplace, or enterprise system, cloud security and scalability should be part of the architecture from day one—not an afterthought. What other AWS security or scalability techniques would you add to this stack?
