The João Pessoa Metropolitan Ring Road (PB-016) is a strategic 18.7 km road project that connects BR-230 to BR-101, passing through Santa Rita (Cicerolândia). With an investment of R$ 255 million, it aims to relieve heavy traffic at the entrance to João Pessoa, facilitating the flow of production and reducing accidents, with completion scheduled for 2026. Main Highlights: Strategic Connection: Links BR-230 to BR-101, optimizing the flow between Conde, Santa Rita and João Pessoa. Structure: Includes dual carriageway, central reservation, shoulders, two viaducts (BR-101/BR-230 intersections) and bridges over the Mumbaba and Gramame rivers. Logistical Impact: Aims to remove heavy traffic from the urban perimeter of the capital, reducing congestion and travel time, benefiting the development of Industrial District III. Investment and Timeline: The project, being executed by a consortium (CLC, Rocha Cavalcante, and Cosampa), is scheduled for completion in December 2026, with phases of the work being completed throughout the period.
