This trip to Okinawa with my two kids was initially thought to be a "physical challenge for parents," but it unexpectedly turned into a very relaxing island getaway 🌴 The flight from Taiwan to Okinawa is only an hour and a half, so the kids won't get exhausted. And the next attraction is practically a half-hour drive away, making it incredibly family-friendly! This was our first time flying with JTA (Japan Airlines), and the timing was perfect for families with children. No need to get up in the early morning to catch a flight; we could start playing as soon as we landed! The most memorable experience was at the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium. It wasn't just about seeing fish; you could actually interact and participate! Feeding otters, penguins, sloths, and there was even a super close-up touch pool! Driving slowly, watching the sea, and eating shrimp rice... that pace makes you want to stay longer. We also meticulously documented our four-day, three-night trip expenses. We discovered that Okinawa is actually more suitable for family travel than we imagined. It's not too tiring, and there are many places suitable for children. If you ask me what I recommend in Okinawa? I would say: "This is the perfect place for a family to slow down and enjoy a few days together." Plus, the two aquariums are completely different styles: one is an immersive interactive experience, and the other is a classic and breathtaking ocean world.
