To calculate the extra yardage you’ll need to make your Overlay Mosaic Crochet projects with my COM technique with NO ENDS, multiply the width of the rows in the pattern by the number of rows in each color. For instance, if the project is 36” wide (1 yard) and the project has a total of 180 rows (90 rows in each of 2 colors), you’ll need an extra 90 yards of each of the 2 colors to make your project with the COM technique. That’s not bad considering the fact that you won’t have all those ends on the left and right edges of your project to deal with! Note: My 2 new Overlay Mosaic Crochet blanket patterns listed above already include the extra yardage in the materials list, so you won’t need to calculate it for these Mosaic blankets!
