I Risked $1,700 on a PSA 7 Pokémon Card...

In this Pokémon card vendor POV, I take one of the biggest risks of my entire year. After finding a PSA 7 Pikachu Stamp Box, I made the decision to pay $1,700 cash—despite already knowing I was paying above market value. Why? Because I believed PSA got the grade wrong. That led to one of the biggest grading gambles I've ever taken: cracking the card out of its slab and sending it back to PSA in hopes of a PSA 10 worth over $4,000. While waiting for the results, it's back to the grind at the San Jose and the EAST Bay Card Show. Buying collections, making trades, negotiating deals, and trying to grow inventory in one of the most competitive Pokémon card markets in the country. In 2026, Pokémon cards have become a physical stock market where every vendor is constantly making bets with real money. Some pay off, and some become expensive mistakes. Follow along as I share the highs, lows, risks, profits, losses, and behind-the-scenes reality of being a full-time Pokémon card vendor. #PokemonCards #PokemonTCG #PokemonCardInvesting #PokemonVendor #PSAGrading #PokemonCardShow #PikachuStampBox #PokemonCollecting #TradingCards #CardShowVlog #PokemonInvestor #PSA10 #PokemonMarket #CardFlipping #PokemonBusiness #riftbound #vendorpov
