Colorado Trail Thru-Hike | 6.5lb Gear List

After walking 500 miles across the state of Colorado, here is my Colorado Trail Ultralight gear list. Coming in at 6.5lbs, I believe my gear list is of course ultralight but not ultra-uncomfortable... It took me all the way eh :) Even though it was summer in Colorado, the temps still gets to 35 degrees at that high elevation the state is known for, meaning the cold is definitely something to take into consideration when packing. Although it's cold up there, another battle is the sun, so much of the trail is above treeline meaning you have to pack proper sun protection - the higher you are the closer you are to the sun. Take from the list what you will, this is what worked for me and there are totally some cheaper alternatives I will link below. This could be if you are on a tight budget or are looking to get into backpacking.
