A simple way to start changing to a growth mindset, is by the use of a little word, yet. In essence, the word means a realisation that some things are worth waiting for, and those things take work. Marissa Binte Munir learnt the power of YET when she went through a growth mindset module during FTGP in P4. She composed a song based on the simple word,YET. Music can have a powerful effect on the brain, and so can one’s mindset. In this instance, music and growth mindset are combined to send a strong message to everyone. One simple word, any fixed mindset phrase can be transformed into a statement of hope.
