According to Butta, the altercation took place in 2010, prior to Keef's rise to fame with his breakout hit, "Don't Like." Butta claimed the incident was a result of an argument over the phone that got escalated when they met in person at a restaurant later that night. He also mentioned running into other personalities during the incident. Vlad questioned Butta on the reasons behind their dispute, but it remained unclear. The conflict resurfaced as Keef announced his first concert in Chicago after a decade. Despite their history, Butta seemed unsure about whether the rapper's return would stir up old tensions.
