He can see the Custom House on the quay where he's taking up his new appointment as surveyor - the boss. He has yet to meet his team, but he believes the innovations and efficiency he is determined to bring about will not be popular with them. A real challenge - and perhaps a little more. Produced by the BBC, one series of 10 episodes was first shown in 1986. Location scenes were filmed around the English resorts of Poole and Weymouth, in particular featuring the old Poole Customs House on the harbour. The series was broadcast between the 1st March and the 3rd of May 1986
