The reality of the housing crisis for women over 50
I have been living full-time in my caravan for 6 years when a sequence of unfortunate events meant that I was no longer able to afford to rent or buy a house. I bought the cheapest old van I could find that was still roadworthy and did it up bit by bit over the years until it finally felt like "home".
