#JABProductions This is how #Pereira experienced Pride 2023. More than 10,000 people joined this space of recognition and commemoration for the diverse population based on sexual orientation and gender. We want an inclusive city free of discrimination. International Pride Day, also known as International LGBT Pride Day and other variations of the acronym, is a day celebrated worldwide every June 28th in commemoration of the Stonewall riots of 1969, to reaffirm pride in traditionally marginalized and repressed sexual orientations and gender identities, and to make their presence in society and their demands visible. In some countries and cities, it coincides with the Pride March and other festivities related to the LGBT movement. Some cities also celebrate "Pride Week" and "Pride Month," which do not always coincide with International Pride Day.
