Humbucker Push Pull Pot Series Parallel Wiring
In this video we demonstrate how to wire a humbucker into a push pull pot to enable series/parallel switching. Using a very simple rig consisting of a volume control and a jack socket, this video shows how to wire a 4 conductor Seymour Duncan into a CTS push pull pot. The vast majority of humbuckers are wired in "series". In this setup, activating the push pull pot enables "parallel" wiring. This creates a brighter tone from the pickup but results in a considerable loss in output.
