Petenka Planetka is a channel run by traveler and blogger Petr Lovygin, known for his trips to North Korea, Moldova, India, Somalia, and other countries. Petenka Planetka's travel blog is unique in that Lovygin's travels are unlike those typically seen on YouTube. Gypsies and marginalized, yet quirky, individuals dominate the footage. The Petenka Planetka channel and Petr Lovygin himself became widely known on YouTube after the release of several videos from his trip to North Korea. While the North Korean stories weren't particularly unusual, they attracted a large audience due to the interest in the closed country. Lovygin later focused on portraying the characters of both permanent and temporary travel companions. Among them, the most prominent are undoubtedly the former cop Chausov, Seryoga, a Gagauz from Moldova, and Lovygin's wife, Masha, who goes by the pseudonym "Dynechka." Petr Lovygin derives great pleasure from traveling to places where Roma live and interacting with prominent representatives of the Roma people. In an interview that Petenka Planetka gave to the channel "Travels of the Nishchebroda," he touched on topics related to the peculiarities of traveling through dangerous countries, Lovygin's personal views, and his relationships with fellow travelers. The question of what needs to be done to bring Evgeny Chausov back concerns many of Petr Lovygin's fans, who have grown fond of this character. Much after the interview was released, it was revealed that Chausov and Lovygin had gone on a joint trip to South Africa and Zambia. Another iconic character promoted by the Petenka Planetka channel is Seryoga Gagauz, a resident of Moldova. He's definitely not expected to appear in future videos on the Petenka Planetka channel. An interview with Lovygin wouldn't be complete without questions about his much-hyped conflict with another travel blogger, who runs a channel called "Poekhashiy." Lovygin and Poekhashiy turned this conflict into a boxing match. The judges ruled that the boxing match between the bloggers ended in a victory for Poekhashiy, but many viewers noted that Petenka Planetka was more confident in the ring. A one-on-one football match between the bloggers on a large field is possible in the future. It was a bit disappointing that Petenka Lovygin isn't interested in punk music, which, however, isn't necessarily the case for someone who runs a travel blog.
