Dallas: Season 2 (1978-79) clip (Julie Grey’s demise)

This is a scene from “The Red File: Part 1”, the 17th episode (22nd overall) of the second season of the 1978-91 CBS drama “Dallas.” This episode originally aired on Friday, February 2, 1979. This episode marked the final appearance of Tina Louise as Julie Grey. One by one, people are finding out about the return of John Ross “J.R.” Ewing’s (Larry Hagman) former secretary, Julie Grey (Tina Louise). But no one is more interested than Jeb Ames (Sandy Ward) or Willie Joe Garr (John Ashton), who both know that they may be implicated in J.R.’s dirty dealings, all noted in “The Red Files”, which Julie knows all about. To that end, Jeb and Willie Joe go to Julie’s apartment to stop her from selling out to J.R.’s archenemy, Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval). Both men chased Julie all the way to the roof of the building. Unaware of what’s happening, Cliff arrives at Julie’s apartment, only to find the place empty. Jeb and Willie Joe catch Julie, who struggles to get away, only to end up plunging to her death.
