Somewhere between the high adventure of D&D and the bleak horror of Mork Borg likes the Warhammer setting. Where you probably won't be eaten by a demon when you cast a spell, where a bandit won't crush your skull with a lucky hit of his hammer, and where a simple farmer can become a great adventurer through sheer necessity.
