Viral Telescopic Mascara by L’Oreal

New L’Oreal Telescopic Lift Mascara I'm sure by now you've seen the new L'Oreal Telescopic Lift Mascara going viral on social media for its lengthening, lifting, false lash effect. To make things even more dramatic, a beloved beauty TikTok influencer allegedly did a sponsored video with L’Oreal showing how great this new mascara is. Her results were so phenomenal that it looked like she had false lashes after apply the new L’Oreal Telescopic Lift Mascara. If you look closely from her first coat to her last coat, it looks like she applied false lashes, allegedly. Of course, I was intrigued - falsies without the hassle?! Sign me up! But, unfortunately, I'm here to report it did not live up to its promises. There are some things I like about this mascara, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros. While I enjoyed the initial application, that's about all I liked. The applicator is unique with its flat and bristled sides, allowing for a precise application with minimal clumping. However, the bristles are a little prickly, so definitely be careful! It does achieve lash separation and definition with its intense black pigment. But, here's where the downfall starts: while it does length, it doesn't lengthen as much as I expected from the claims. Nor did it create the boundless lift and curl that even the name, Telescopic Lift, alludes to. And I don't know about you, but when I read a 36 hours of lifted lashes wear claim, I don't expect smudging, transfer, or flaking. This L'Oreal mascara had a good bit of smudging and transfer, plus has a decent amount of flaking. I've tried this mascara as both a brand new tube and after it had a few weeks to dry out, and, it was the same wear result both times.
