How to read P&ID

This gives details information about the installation of piping and piping equipment, different measuring recording and controlling instruments and related equipment in the process. It is a most vital topic to be known for a student as well as fresher engineer who started working or will work in the process plant. Application of P&ID are life long of the plant starting from Erection & Commissioning, start up of the plant, day to day Maintenance, and during plant shutdown maintenance. It is important for vendor and visitor of the plant also. To read P&ID or to get information from P&ID everyone need to know different symbols used to identify different piping system, different measuring and control instruments, and many other equipment related with process plant.
