She worked as a culture reporter for the monthly magazine "Gaeksok" and the current affairs weekly "Weekly Donga" before returning to the UK to study and earn her doctorate in cultural content industry studies from the University of Glasgow. She is currently a professor in the Department of Liberal Arts at Sejong Cyber ​​University and lectures at the National Museum of Korea, the Busan Cultural Center, and KBS Radio's "Culture Empathy."
