Dr.Sarah Knight Dr. Sarah Knight is a scholar and researcher in Church History, specializing in the history of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Kerala. Born and brought up in a Syrian Christian family in Kerala, she holds a Master’s and M.Litt. in English Language and Literature. Dr. Knight worked as a lecturer in English Language and Literature in universities across several countries, including the University of Bombay in India, Shinshu University in Japan, and the University of Cambridge in England, before settling in Cambridge. In recent years, she shifted her focus to Church History, earning her doctorate from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, in January 2020.
