This web conference addresses the dental management of patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus, highly prevalent chronic conditions that influence the inflammatory response, the healing process, and the safety of dental procedures. The meeting discusses the main pathophysiological aspects related to these conditions and their impact on the clinical practice of dentists. Strategies for risk assessment, treatment planning, and the adoption of evidence-based practices are presented, encompassing pre-, trans-, and post-operative care. The activity will also address the prevention and management of possible complications, contributing to safer, more qualified, and patient-centered care. The objective is to strengthen clinical decision-making and increase the safety of dental care for people with hypertension and diabetes.
