I fell off a 30 foot cliff and LIVED | Derik's Story Part 1

On April 4, 2010, I went through the most traumatic experience of my entire life. I fell off of a 30 ft cliff in St. George, Utah, and nearly died. I shattered my whole entire face and had to get it reconstructed. I've only ever shared this story with close friends and family, so opening up about all of this is pretty weird for me! I share all of the details I can remember about the accident and talk about how my life has been impacted by it. This is Part 1. Part 2 will be all about the after-effects and my life now!
