A secret room hidden behind the iconostasis in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Hrynivka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region could accommodate up to ten people. The premises could have been used for hiding, in particular during the insurrectionary movement, believes the rector of the church, Viktor Buyanov. The exact date of construction of this church is unknown. It probably already existed in the early 1700s. This year the church was renovated. Currently, its walls contain 19th-century icons and ancient wooden relics. The church itself is lit by candles, as the premises were not supplied with electricity.
