This vintage American game dates back to the 1960s and was in very poor condition when I received it. For this restoration, I completely disassembled the game and removed decades of rust using sandblasting. Afterward, all metal parts were carefully primed and powder coated to ensure a durable and beautiful finish. To make the restoration even more complete, I designed and 3D printed a custom storage box for the game. Using my new Makera CNC machine, I also machined a brand-new wooden score counter and fabricated new aluminum pins that are essential for the game's target mechanism. The original stickers were badly damaged, so I digitally reconstructed them and cut precise replacements using my plotter machine. This project combines traditional restoration techniques with modern manufacturing tools such as CNC machining, 3D printing, powder coating, vinyl cutting, and sandblasting. Watch the full restoration and see how this forgotten 1960s Ski Hoop Game is transformed into a beautiful collectible once again.
