community of Agavedzi in Ghana's Volta Region faced severe devastation due to powerful tidal waves. These waves destroyed at least 51 houses and displaced over 300 residents. The community cemetery was also affected, with approximately 63 tombs being washed away. Residents are now relying on the major road connecting Aflao and Anloga, as their homes and properties have been lost to the sea.
