Tutorial how to make a tiered maxi skirt | FREE SEWING PATTERN! stitching for beginners step by step

In this video, I'll show you how to create a ladies tiered maxi skirt. I've included a FREE PATTERN & CALCULATIONS so that you can make your own customised tiered maxi skirt! This maxi skirt is a great project for sewing clothes for beginners because it's a really easy one to make! I go through the simple skirt cutting and stitching / cotton skirt cutting and stitching steps to create this pink ladies maxi skirt with three tiers : the top tier is the shortest in length, followed by tier 2, which is slightly longer, and then tier 3, which is longer again. I've included a free sewing pattern and all of the formulas and calculations for you to create your own customized tiered maxi skirt - I've also included the exact measurements of the skirt that I made in this video, in case you're close to my size and can just copy my exact measurements (meaning you just have to write the number down instead of working it out through the formulas / mathematics formula - feels like a very easy math paper haha). No need to figure out how to make pattern paper with this sewing tutorial for women's clothes because I've given you all of the formulas and calculations! If you're thinking about the how to preparation for this skirt, it's super easy - you just need the right amount of material, I'd suggest at least 3 metres (if you're using the same multiplier I used here, and are a similar size & height to me). When I joined the skirt tiers together, I gathered them, which I walk you through in this video as well. This is a great video for how to sew clothes for beginners and how to stitch skirt for girls because every single step is included. Skirt cutting and stitching is easy once you get the hang of it! Different types of clothes suit different people and body types, and the types of fabrics for clothing is also something that depends on who the skirt is made for. My preferred fabric for this maxi skirt is linen (the strength of materials is great in linen) because I live in a hot and humid climate in Australia. But what material you use for how to make a diy skirt is completely up to you! In terms of how to style a maxi dress / party wear maxi dresses , you can really style it with whatever you like. I went for a tight fitting, long sleeved white top, because I feel it balanced out the puffiness and flowy-ness of the pink maxi skirt.
