Shambhala Bar? 3 Minuten drin… dann lieber Chang vom Dorfladen!🤣🤣 Von der „Traumbar“ zum Fressmarkt.

Today we're trying out the Shambhala Bar on Koh Chang because several people told us: "Uwe, if you're on Koh Chang, you absolutely have to go there!" So we went... at 4:15 PM 👉 were there for 3 minutes... 👉 and left again voluntarily. Why? 🔸 The beach was more like a pond or a stream, hardly any ocean feeling 🔸 No waves, no atmosphere 🔸 Almost no one there 🔸 For us: not recommended But a few kilometers further on, we found something much better: 🛍️ A small food market right by the roadside. Somtam for pornpanna, crispy chicken skin for on the go – perfect! Then we wanted to buy a beer at 7-Eleven (Chang, of course), but... ⛔ 4:45 PM – Sales prohibited! (Thailand still prohibits the sale of alcohol in supermarkets between 2 pm and 5 pm) Two doors down – small bakery – no problem: 🍺 Got some Chang coffee – no time limit! To wrap things up, back to the resort, a beer in hand, camera on, day's recap.
