Freedom of speech today exists in a strange world. Formally speaking has become easier than ever: everyone has a screen, a camera, a microphone, social media, artificial intelligence, and instant access to an audience. But that's precisely why truly speaking has become more difficult. In the program "Will You Be the Third?" we spoke with Lika Tumanyan and Alexander Arkhangelsky about what's happening to speech in the age of AI, algorithms, digital noise, and growing autocracies. Can journalism survive when the government is learning not only to prohibit but also to dissolve truth in a flood of simulations?
