Virginia Canyon (near Idaho Springs, Colorado) is a classic Front Range singletrack playground for mountain bikers seeking fast, flowy descents with big-mountain scenery. The main route follows the old mining corridor high above the canyon, delivering sustained downhill flow, bermed turns, rolling rock gardens, and occasional technical drops — most commonly ridden as a mostly downhill shuttle from near the top of the canyon toward Idaho Springs.
