TOBERMORY: Amazing Canadian Summer Destination 🇨🇦 In this video, I visit Tobermory for 2 days and show you all the great things to do in the Tobermory area! Tobermory and the surrounding area are popular vacation destinations, especially in the Canadian summer. Tobermory is located in Ontario (Canada’s largest province), 300 kilometres northwest of Toronto (Canada’s largest city). The community is known as the freshwater scuba diving capital of the world due to the numerous shipwrecks that lie in the surrounding waters, especially in Fathom Five National Marine Park. There are many different boat tours to different destinations including shipwrecks and Flowerpot Island. The MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry connects Tobermory to Manitoulin Island for both passengers and cars. The world famous and extremely beautiful limestone cave “The Grotto” is located inside Bruce Peninsula National Park and overlooks the clear waters of Georgian Bay (the largest freshwater archipelago in the world). Tobermory is also the northern most part of the Bruce Trail, which is Canada’s oldest and longest marked hiking trail comprising almost 900 kilometres (and growing) of trail all the way to Queenston Heights in the Niagara Falls area. The Bruce Trail follows the Niagara Escarpment for most of its journey.
