Irish Takbeerat (تكبيرات إيرلندية ) by Ali Keeler Eid 2016, Granada, Spain
On Eid al Fitr, 2016, we joined Ali Keeler from Al Firdaus Ensemble who sang takbeerat to an Irish hymn as he described it. We were up in the mountains in Granada, once under Islamic rule as Al- Andalus. We see a revival of Islam there at Alqueria de Rosales which hosts a Muslim family farm, cultural center & mosque aimed in creating bridges of peace and understanding between the people through culture, history & knowledge.
