The Senadora Maria do Carmo Alves Road Complex is the largest urban infrastructure project currently underway in Aracaju, designed to connect Avenida Tancredo Neves to the Coroa do Meio neighborhood. With an investment exceeding R$ 318 million, the project, executed by the Government of Sergipe, aims to eliminate historical traffic bottlenecks in the southern zone of the capital. Beira-Mar Viaduct: It is 180 meters long and located at the intersection of Avenida Beira Mar and Avenida Tancredo Neves. The elevated structure has had its asphalt paving completed, and the official inauguration is confirmed for May 27, 2026. Cable-Stayed Bridge: It will be 360 ​​meters long over the Poxim River, providing a direct connection to Coroa do Meio. Its foundations are in an advanced stage, and the projected delivery date for the entire completed complex is the beginning of the second half of 2027. Cycle Paths and Infrastructure: The project includes 2.34 kilometers of exclusive bike lanes, in addition to integrated drainage, earthworks, and public lighting.
