The first three scenes to Season 3 Episode 23: Jock’s Trial Part 2 Miss Ellie tells Matt that she should be heading home and that she can’t betray Jock by getting involved with Matt who scraps the project, thus saving the park which meant so much to Miss Ellie. Bobby calls Miss Ellie to inform her of Jock’s arrest for murder. The press has field day with Jock being charged with Hutch McKinney’s murder and the bail was set at $10,000. J.R. and Bobby state that it’s a personal vendetta for Cliff. Harv Smithfield states that Scotty Demarest will be representing Jock at his trial. Digger wakes up from his coma and Cliff informs his father that he had Jock arrested for murder. Pam finds it outrageous that her brother would do such a thing.
