Monroe Style Grunt Workout!!
We're using Staggered Arpeggios over the 1 Chord (G), the Slidey Lick over the 4 Chord (C) and the Bouncy Lick over the 5 (D) and then a little shuffle ending lick to get great, essential grunt work practice over perhaps the most common jam session song, Blue Ridge Cabin Home. This will dial in valuable muscle memory and parlay into other songs nicely as you progress. We use Strum Machine and go from 45bpm (quite slow) to around 175bpm (super blazing fast). Please check out the note-for-note videos on the devices (Staggered Arpeggios, Slidey Lick, and Bouncy Lick) if you don't have those down already! click here to register for the workshop: https://noyamountainmusic.com/scoop If you like the video, please consider supporting this channel by becoming a Patron at / noyamountainmusic Even pressing like, subscribing, sharing, or leaving a comment is helpful to getting more free mandolin teaching out here.
