🚂 Day Out With Thomas 2026 | Thomas Returns to Strasburg Railroad! Join us as we head back to the Strasburg Railroad for the annual Day Out With Thomas event! This special event takes place every June and September, and it's always one of our favorite family traditions. This year, we got to see Thomas, but he was a smaller version than the one we're used to seeing. Mavis the diesel engine handled all the pushing and pulling while Thomas came along for the ride. After looking into the YouTube comments and hearing from fellow railfans, we learned that the regular Thomas is currently out of service for repairs and may also be undergoing a major inspection, so this smaller Thomas is filling in for now. Even with the change, we still had an amazing time! We enjoyed riding behind Thomas, exploring the station, and watching all the trains at the beautiful Strasburg Railroad.
