We pruned a black pine planted at a temple in Okayama. The branches and trunk shape of these historic black pines directly shape the landscape, so delicate pruning techniques that do not disrupt the tree's shape are important. This time, we trimmed away unnecessary branches, removed leaves, and improved sunlight and ventilation, bringing out the black pine's natural beauty. Through this care, the temple grounds have become brighter, resulting in the revitalization of the garden and the creation of a space that is more in keeping with daily life.
