Its flat and straight design offers ideal conditions for enduro riding – even in a standing position. The optional "Pillion Passenger Package" offers a seat for two people (standard seat height with 17" rear wheel: 860 mm / seat height with the Enduro Package Pro with 18" rear wheel: 875 mm). The optional "Rally Seat" raises the rider's seat height by 20 mm (standard seat height with 17" rear wheel: 880 mm / seat height with the Enduro Package Pro with 18" rear wheel: 895 mm). The new R 12 G/S comes standard with two practical steel eyelets on the rear frame that serve as tie-down points. The base version of the new BMW R 12 G/S features a footrest system that is primarily designed for on-road use, but its serrated profile also makes it suitable for off-road use. As part of the optional "Enduro Package Pro," the R 12 G/S includes an enduro footrest system that offers optimal grip for enduro riding thanks to the enlarged contact surface of the footrest bodies combined with three rows of serrations. The tapered aluminum tubular handlebar allows for further individual ergonomic adjustments. The optional enduro package includes a 20 mm handlebar riser.
