Today I'm sharing our end-of-summer tasks, starting with staking the tomatoes at their third level and paying attention to the suckers so that all the energy goes towards fruit ripening. It's been an incredible harvest season, especially with the zucchini and our greenhouse king: cherry tomatoes that reached 3 meters tall thanks to the shade cloth. Besides the vegetable garden, I'll show you how we're progressing with the construction of the compost bin. We'll also review the results of solarization with plastic in our raised beds and share a great design tip on where to place basil so it's always on hand when cooking.
