Rıza Pekkutsal only acted in a few of Kemal Sunal's films, but his performances in those roles, all directed by Natuk Baytan, left a lasting impression. In Korkusuz Korkak, he played the competent civil servant; in Yedi Bela Hüsnü, he was Latif, the barber the neighborhood listened to; and in Gerzek Şaban, he portrayed the incompetent director. Rıza Pekkutsal married in 1970, and a few years later, his daughter Funda was born. In 1994, he played the character "Hacı Gaffur," Kültigin's father, in the TV series "Kaygısızlar" for two years. Rıza Pekkutsal, who also appeared in "Tatlı Kaçıklar" and "Çılgın Bediş," acted in productions such as "Yarım Elma" and "Cennet Mahallesi" in the 2000s. His last film was "Sıfır Dediğimde" in 2007. In 2005, Cem Yılmaz changed Rıza Pekkutsal's life, just like he did with his friend Zafer Önen. He featured two Yeşilçam dubbing legends, Zafer Önen and Rıza Pekkutsal, in a commercial, securing a substantial payment from the company. Zafer Önen stated that he received approximately 150,000 Turkish Lira at the time and lived off that, while Rıza Pekkutsal admitted in an interview that Cem Yılmaz's gesture enabled him to become a homeowner. Voiceover: “May God bless Cem a thousand times over. Thanks to him, Zafer and I appeared in a commercial for 5-6 seconds. We earned more money than we could have earned in all our years in theater. We both became homeowners thanks to Cem Yılmaz. He still calls and asks about us after that day. He respectfully calls us ‘my masters.’” On August 16, 2022, the sad news came about Rıza Pekkutsal. He passed away at the age of 87 due to age-related causes. His story ended where it began. Rıza Pekkutsal's funeral prayer was held at Buca Yaylacık Mosque.
