Vieux Corps, a fusion of traditional masquerade elements, emerged in Victoria during the 1900's. These ol' mas' characters, reminiscent of the masquerade tradition, would roam the streets on foreday morning, evoking fear and excitement among the onlookers. We bring to you Part 1 of the Vieux Corp docu-series. We will delve into the origins of the Vieux Corps and its significance within the Grenadian carnival culture.
