Portugal the latest country to enact no-brainer burqa ban

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio discusses the Portuguese parliament approving a ban on burqas in public spaces. “It has just passed a committee stage after passing parliament later last year,” Ms De Giorgio said. “This latest development means it paves the way for a parliamentary vote, there’s been a lot of political negotiations over wording, I mean I think it should be a no-brainer. “But here’s the thing, 20 countries have banned it in full or in part, even majority Muslim countries like Algeria and Chad.”
