Who is behind you?

Kagome Kagome is a traditional and cryptic Japanese nursery rhyme and game. A common translation of the song being: Kagome kagome / The bird in the basket, When will you leave? At dawn. The crane and turtle slipped, Who is behind you now? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kagome_... There are number of theories of what the song might mean, aside from the literal interpretation, the others are frightening! This version of Kagome Kagome is by Isaku Kageyama with Artwork from Katsukawa Shunsho (1726-1792) and Watanabe Seitei (1851-1918) The chapters below are the artwork in it’s first appearance on the video, Seven Beauties of the Bamboo Grove completed by Watanabe Seitei, the rest completed by Katsukawa Shunsho.
