TWELFTH NIGHT - Orson Welles (1933)
Footage of the dress rehearsal of Orson Welles and Roger "Skipper" Hill's abridged production of Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT at the Todd School for Boys in Woodstock, Illinois, from 1933, along with scenes from a 1940 production. The play won first prize at the Chicago Drama Festival in 1933. Footage copyrighted by Hill's grandson, Todd Tarbox, and presented here with his kind permission.
