The script for the film was originally written by Dan O'Bannon and his friend and assistant Ronald Shusett. The Xenomorph was created by a very ancient, highly intelligent alien race, they are known to us as engineers, but the technical term for them sounds like Biomechanoid. They are a synthesis of man and machine, which is most likely a consequence of their natural development, rather than a side effect. And although at first glance it seems that the Engineers are very similar in appearance to people, they are completely different species. Compared to humans, they are extremely tall, their height is about 3.5 meters. Engineers also have incredible strength. The areas of the body where there is no biomechanical tissue, in other words, the skin on the face and hands is very pale with a gray tint, while the rest of the body is painted black. The eyes are lifelessly dead, a very deep dark blue color. The mouth has almost lost its original function, and rather serves for the physiological process of providing the body with oxygen, as well as in rare cases of communication with other similar individuals. The minds of Engineers work on a completely different level than humans. They have learned to merge with their technologies, thus making them an extension of themselves. As evidenced by the found space hockey, it was part of the ship. Tens of thousands of years ago, the race of Engineers began a civil war, which is very common among intelligent beings, to destroy their own kind. Their technology was so advanced that the number of victims was in the millions. Decades passed, and there was no end in sight to the war. It seemed like it would go on forever... until one of the parties came up with an idea. An idea for an experiment to create a biomechanical weapon.
