As the water cools in the circuit, your heating system will receive a signal from the sensor indicating a temperature problem. Because the water has cooled down, your boiler or heat pump will restart. ▶ When should you perform a system flush? ▶ It is recommended to perform a system flush every 5 to 7 years for radiators and every 5 years for underfloor heating.
