An initiative now in its tenth edition, which offers conversations with witnesses of our time to create and promote a welcoming community, capable of building bonds around young people and adults to respond to the existential discomforts of contemporary society. Today more than ever we feel the need and desire to scrutinize new horizons, which speak to us of beauty and hope, which open up to bright future prospects, in response to the complex and difficult times we are experiencing. To start this new season of conferences in the best possible way, what better theme than hope, which certainly brings beauty and light with it. But is hope still in fashion? This is why as a Dialogue Group we have thought of a prophet of hope and beauty for the second meeting. In fact, Don Gianni Marmorini will open the dance with a conference on the theme: "Hope, another look, another story". We need other narratives, new perspectives and open horizons to face the challenges that await us. Gianni Marmorini, parish priest of Papiano and Stia (province of Arezzo), is a wise biblical scholar, connoisseur of the Hebrew language, who has traced his path always in search of new experiences, transforming over time his commitment in the Fraternity of @romenavideo and in the parishes of the upper Casentino, in the passion of transmitting his love for the Word. With the PAPIANOINSIEME fraternity he crossed the borders of the parish and opened himself up to the world, promoting biblical meetings, conferences on various topics: environment, ecology, care for creation, immigration, peace. Scripture is his starting point, which he knows how to give new perspectives to those who not only study it, but try to live it in everyday life. He has published a book provoking an interesting debate: "Isacco. The imperfect son" (@ claudianaeditrice3833 2018). "A hymn to the limit", as defined by Don Massimo Grilli in his presentation.
