This is the final episode of my journey turning an old abandoned bus in the wild mountains into a free shelter for any traveler, hiker, or lost soul in need. In this episode: ➤ I cut a hole in the roof and installed a panoramic glass ceiling. Now the shelter is filled with light— especially beautiful during rainstorms, which you’ll see in this video. ➤ As the thunder rolled in and rain poured down, I sat safely inside, dry and warm by the fire. ➤ Before bed, I found a plum branch, shaved it into chips, and used it to smoke fish over the flames. The taste, the sound of rain, the firelight... unforgettable. This bus was once forgotten, broken, rusted and dark. Now, it’s a place of comfort, safety, and beauty—open to anyone who needs it.
